B2 LEVEL – 5-DAY ENGLISH COURSE PROGRAMME (ERASMUS ADULT EDUCATION)

Day 1 – Advanced Introductions & Expressing Opinions

Topics:

  • Extended introductions and networking language
  • Expressing opinions and agreeing/disagreeing
  • Review of present tenses

Vocabulary:

  • Personality traits
  • Work, education, and experiences

Activities:

  • Ice-breaker discussions
  • Pair debates (e.g., “Online vs face-to-face learning”)
  • Speaking task: personal background and goals

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants can introduce themselves in detail and express opinions clearly

Day 2 – Work, Skills & Presentations

Topics:

  • Present Perfect vs Past Simple
  • Giving presentations

Vocabulary:

  • Jobs, skills, achievements
  • Action verbs (manage, develop, improve, etc.)

Activities:

  • CV-based speaking activity
  • Mini presentations (2–3 minutes)
  • Listening: workplace communication

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants can describe experiences and give structured short presentations

Day 3 – Problem Solving & Decision Making

Topics:

  • Modal verbs (should, must, might, have to)
  • Conditionals (first and second)

Vocabulary:

  • Problem-solving and decision-making expressions

Activities:

  • Group discussions: solving real-life problems
  • Case study analysis
  • Role-play (team decision-making)

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants can suggest solutions and discuss possible outcomes

Day 4 – Media, Culture & Debate

Topics:

  • Passive voice
  • Reported speech

Vocabulary:

  • Media, technology, culture

Activities:

  • Reading and discussing news articles
  • Group debate (e.g., “Social media: positive or negative?”)
  • Reporting others’ opinions

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants can understand and discuss current topics and report information

Future Plans & Final Presentations

Topics:

  • Future forms (will, going to, present continuous)
  • Review of key structures

Vocabulary:

  • Future plans, goals, and ambitions

Activities:

  • Final group presentations
  • Peer feedback
  • Course review and reflection

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants can talk about future plans and deliver a structured presentation
